”This gourmet pregnancy cravings cookbook is the most hysterical book ever.”

”The ultimate book for expectant mothers.”

It all started with a pregnant friend secretly eating Oreos and toothpaste. As we know, growing a miniature human can completely rewire your taste buds, turning your former favorite meals revolting and making bizarre concoctions seem suddenly delicious. For her, regular Oreos were missing something—and that something was minty dental paste.

Fascinated by this transition from disgusting to delicious, we began wondering what other pregnant women were secretly eating. Thus, the idea for the world’s first crazy pregnancy cravings recipe book was born.

What followed was over a year of research. We interviewed family, friends, and strangers, while scouring mommy blogs and literature. We discovered cravings ranging from the boring (we’ve probably heard "pickles" and "fast food" a million times) to surprisingly popular oddities, like spicy ice cream or even urges for inedible items like soap, bricks, and charcoal.

Sadly, many women confessed they felt ashamed of their unusual cravings. This fueled our determination to create the book. We wanted to send a message to pregnant women everywhere that they certainly weren’t alone, erasing the stigma to celebrate this quirk of bringing new life into the world. No matter how weird your craving, someone out there has craved something weirder.

We gathered our recipes and launched a blog about it. We photographed each odd dish like a gourmet meal, complete with fancy titles and step-by-step instructions. For the first time, these cravings looked just as mouth-watering as they felt to the women who wanted them. In fact, they looked so good that we decided to taste-test and review every single one in the name of science, art, and a good laugh.

This was a decision we came to deeply regret.

Mountain Melodies is an art project that has the purpose of merging two sensory pathways: vision and audition. After curating a personal collection of 30 landscape photography and choosing mountains as a visual subject, this project aims to explore the unique melodies the diverse images chant to anyone who looks at it.

By exploring the theory of music, the synesthetic idea is simple: To place an imaginary music staff (an arrangement of five parallel lines present on music sheets) on top of the mountain chains present on the photos and turn every mountain peak into a music note. The duration of each note is dictated by the space between peaks: the bigger the space, the longer the note resonates. This way, every single picture creates an unique melody.

Music & Photography

For a month, I took one picture everyday from the same spot at 6:30PM.

On July 11th, 1969, “Space Oddity”, one of the most remarkable songs of modern times was released. Exactly 50 years later, July 11th 2019, this short film was created to pay tribute to David Bowie and his iconic song. We edited hundreds of hours of NASA footage to bring you our take on Major Tom’s tragic story.

This project is important to me because not only allows me to pay a tribute to this great musician but also shows me that I can achieve a great cinematic narrative with zero budget and without big productions. It’s scrappy without jeopardizing the result.
